Hugging Bear (くまきゅう, Kumakyū) is Yuna's summoned Beast along with Swaying Bear. Kumakyuu is the summoned bear from White Bear’s Glove.
Appearance[]
Hugging Bear takes the appearance of a White Bear. In its normal adult form, it is as big as a large bear, but it can also change its size to be more compact in its cub form. Whether big or small, Hugging Bear looks like a cute teddy bear.
Personality[]
Hugging Bear is a little bit reserved and more quiet than Swaying Bear (Kumayuru) but she can still get easily excited, especially when she can help Yuna.
Background[]
The summoning of Hugging Bear and Swaying Bear is a skill Yuna received -along with Kuma Map- after leveling up from defeating the Goblin King.
Abilities[]
Kumakyuu is very fast and a strong fighter, able to defeat many opponents with ease. It can sense danger nearby and can let Yuna know.
Relationships[]
Swaying Bear (Kumayuru)[]
Kumayuru is the other bear. Kumayuru may be more outgoing, but they are still friends since Yuna is their owner. When they are taken outside from their puppets, they tend to play with each other often during breaks.
Yuna[]
Yuna is Kumakyuu's master. Much like Kumayuru, she uses her summons to help transport other people that tag along with her during her adventures (such as Fina and Noir), along with using them to intimidate various bandits and fight enemies.
Fina, Noire, Shuri, Shia, Flora, Eleanora, Cattleya, and Misana[]
It and Kamayuru get along with them just fine. They even allow them to ride on their backs or cuddle them.
Cliff Foschurose[]
It didn't get along well with him at first, but soon warmed up to him.

- The bear has an ability that makes it impossible for you to accidentally fall off.
- The bears generated a power that wrapped their whole body, so the wind pressure couldn’t be felt.
- Ever since being gifted the Bearmonite they have been stronger, faster, tougher and able to use magic as well.
