Gulzam (グルザム; Funimation Name: "Ghoulzam") is a character in Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear.
Appearance[]
Gulzam was shown to have a stubble and short blond hair. He was missing an arm due to him losing it as punishment for his crimes. He was also shown to be really weak as he took control of many monsters that took a toll on his body.
Gulzam wore shaggy clothing with a robe that had the royal crest on the back with a large X over the crest.
Personality[]
Gulzam was shown to have a sadistic and psychotic personality as it was revealed that he used criminals as test subjects for his experiments. Even when he had his arm amputated as punishment he still did not see anything wrong with what he did.
Background[]
Gulzam was a prisoner from the Royal Capital. Once he left the prison, he spent many years on gathering monsters to defeat the King for revenge.
Gulzam had gathered 10,000 monsters of different species to invade and destroy the royal capital. He personally confronted the king and taunted him that his hubris had caused this outcome and that he would witness the destruction of his own country. However, his plans proved to be a failure as Yuna single-handily killed and destroyed all of the monsters he gathered.
In the manga, Gulzam appeared behind the king in his throne and was shocked that his entire army of monsters had been beaten by a single adventurer. The king then killed Gulzam by stabbing him with his sword ending his reign of terror forever.
In the anime, Gulzam confronted Yuna in the forest and attempted to kill her but she easily defeated him and handed him over to the king. It is presumed that he was either once again imprisoned or executed.

- In the light novel, he was killed by the king while in the manga and anime he was defeated and captured by Yuna, but his fate was left unknown after that.
