Gentz (ゲンツ, Gentsu) is one of the supporting characters of Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear series. He is a staff member of the Adventurer's Guild and a resident of Crimonia.

Personality[]
Gentz is a kindhearted man who can be sometimes a little dense. He treats Fina and Shuri as his own daughters even before marrying Tirumina and does what he can to support and care for the family after their marriage.
Background[]
Gentz is an ex-adventurer and use to be in a party with Roy and Tirumina, but after Roy and Tirumina became married the party was disbanded and he retired from adventuring. Gentz currently works at the guild as a staff member, usually in assisting with the sales of monster materials. After the death of Roy he has helped his family by giving Fina any open jobs at the guild and supplying Tirumina with medicine as often as he can. Due to his help Tirumina and her family just barely manage to get by, but as an outsider he can only do so much. Gentz has always held feelings for Tirumina but due to his hesitation could never propose to her, but later on due to the urging of Yuna he proposes to Tirumina and marries her.

Tirumina[]
Tirumina and Gentz used to be very close friends with another friend called Roy, who was Tirumina's husband before he passed away a few years after having Fina and when Shuri was yet to born. Fina had hinted to Yuna that Gentz might have feelings for Tirumina and it turned out that it was true. Later in the story, after Yuna healed Tirumina, Gentz proposes to Tirumina, claiming that if she married him, he will lead her and Fina and Shuri to a happy life.
Fina[]
Fina is Gentz step-daughter and also helps out in the guild to harvest and butcher meat. Before marrying Tirumina, Gentz helped Fina earn money often because Fina didn't have enough money to buy medicine for her mother (Tirumina). Gentz also offered to get herbs in the forest for Fina since it was dangerous which shows Gentz's caring personality.
Yuna[]
Gentz was one of the first people Yuna met when she first came to Crimonia. After learning that Yuna was extremely powerful, he asks Yuna to help him help Fina so that she could earn enough money to buy medicine and cure Tirumina. Yuna misunderstood him and thought he liked Fina but later realises that he likes Tirumina. Later in the series, Yuna and Gentz have a friendly relationship after he marries Tirumina and Yuna threatens him if he makes any of the children sad.
