About[]
- The adventurer’s guild card can be used in any country.
- The guild is neutral in fights between adventurers. Ch 5
- Once a request is taken, it can’t be cancelled without paying a penalty. Cancelling is treated as a failure (Ch. 12).
- The Guild takes a 20% cut off any profits if the monsters have not been dismantled by the Adventurer (Ch. 18).
- Basically, defeating monsters was supposed to be the job of the adventurers. Usually, only when the adventurers failed to defeat monsters would the country’s knights and soldiers take action. Ch 676
Entry Requirements[]
You must be at least 13 years old and get to rank E within a year. If you do not reach the minimum requirements, you will be kicked out (Chapter 5).
Ranks[]
The ranking begins at F and goes up E, D, C, B, A and S. The ranking changes with the number of successes and failures of requests. Your rank won’t increase if you have too many failed requests, so please take only requests that match your current power. Also, your rank won’t increase if you keep taking requests of your rank.
You can take requests from a rank higher than your own. Therefore, even if you, an F-rank, take hundreds of F-rank quests, your rank won’t increase. The guideline is about 10 (higher ranked) requests. The guild will judge you after that.
- Rank E
- Basically possessing the ability to subjugate low level monsters like Goblins or Wolfes (Ch. 5).
- Rank D
- Subjugation of packs of 30 or more monsters are considered D-rank commissions (Ch. 11)
- Solo subjugation of a Goblin King and 10 Orcs was sufficient to be promoted to D grade (Ch. 17)
- Rank C
- Subjugation of pack of 50 or more monster is considered low C-rank (Ch. 11).
- The Goblin King is a C-rank monster. It’s a monster that needs a party of C-rank adventurers to take down (Ch. 13).
- Rank B
- can handle B rank requests
- Subjugating the Kraken would be considered harder than a normal rank B mission. (Ch. 290)
- Rank A
- Rank B adventurers recognized by three or more executives of the King and the Adventurer Guild
- Rank S
- Titles of kings and people recognized as Heroes
- You can become rank S only if you have the recommendation of multiple guild masters
High ranked adventurers, Rank B and above, often wander around. So where they are or when they’ll return is not known. They go to undiscovered lands, looking for strong monsters. They are mostly free and hard to control, and they don’t like to be bound to one place. A lot of them are eccentrics, so it’s quite difficult to make requests of them.
High ranking adventurers are all people who either love adventure, are shut in researching magic, or go on long trips seeking strong foes. They also have a lot of money, so they don’t really accept many requests. There are also some normal high ranking adventurers, but they are mostly taken by other countries. Ch. 139
Guild Cards[]
In order to register, your name, date of birth and occupation are needed and are displayed on your Guild Card (only your age not your D.O.B.). The age on the guild card won’t update without the date of birth. Occupation is helpful when someone wants to recruit companions for their request. It serves as a reference of their abilities.
The Guild card automatically updates your information. Your Adventurer rank, the number of received requests, the content of the requests, the success and failure of the requests, and the currently registered request can all be seen in any Guild.
The card can’t be used by anyone but the adventurer it's issued to. If lost, the Guild will charge 10 silver coins to re-issue a new one.
